A Valentines MP3 Player

line A Valentines MP3 Player

As Valentine’s Day approaches, parents often wonder about appropriate and fun ways to celebrate the holiday with their children. The best way for children to celebrate Valentine’s Day is by making inexpensive, but entertaining crafts. Participating in craft-making is a great way for you and your child to spend some quality time together and exercise some creativity. At a young age, gifts given by children should be only tokens. Encourage your child to create their own valentines using construction paper, glitter, and other craft items you can find around the house without added expense. For older children, consider doing a more complicated craft project, like this candy MP3 player from DisneyFamily.com:

  • 2 pieces of string
  • 2 mini peanut butter bups
  • 1 box conversation hearts candy
  • Aluminum foil

2)    Wrap each peanut butter cup in a circle of aluminum foil.
3)    Wrap the pink paper around the candy box and glue with glue stick.
4)    Cut paper shapes and write text for the scroll wheel and playlist, or print one from the Web site.
